The splendid Villa Kalimaya rests upon 2000 square metres of land in Seminyak’s “Golden Triangle”, just footsteps away from the Indian Ocean on Bali’s southwest coast. Lovingly designed by its owner, and named after a river of gems, the five-bedroom villa is a contemporary tropical masterpiece, blending the very best of modern Balinese architectural elements with elegant finishes and superior amenities.

The property is comprised of a large two-storey building together with three single-storey guest suites, two open-air pavilions and an 18 x 8 metre swimming pool, situated in a beautiful garden. No expense was spared in the creation of this remarkable residence, the owner’s priority was to be gracious to the environment and the property has therefore been designed to be as efficient and as environmentally-friendly as possible.

No chemicals are used in the pool; instead it employs an ioniser filter system that is soft on the earth and gentle on the skin. An advanced filter system is also used throughout the villa, raising the quality of the tap water to the excellence of drinking-water.

A Harman Kardon music system is connected to surround-sound speakers on the terrace and in the outdoor pavilions, while each bedroom functions as a home theatre, with surround-sound speakers. The villa boasts WiFi Broadband Internet access.

Villa Kalimaya is located in the very centre of what is now considered to be the Seminyak’s prime district, exemplified by internationally-acclaimed beachside restaurants, opulent spas, boutique hotels, trendy cocktail bars, and chic designer boutiques.

Within a three-minute walk, guests will find the well-known Oberoi and Legian Hotels, in addition to the famous Ku Dé Ta, La Lucciola, Hu’u Bar and Living Room restaurants. Just 300 metres away is the sweeping Seminyak Beach, renowned for its world-class surf breaks and panoramic coastline views; a playground of the rich and famous, this is the place where the local and expatriate communities gather every evening to enjoy the legendary sunsets.

The villa is located 20 minutes from Bali’s International Airport, and is convenient for all of Bali’s main shops, shopping malls, tourist attractions and vibrant nightspots.
