Dear Ketut,
Just wanted to let you know that my family really enjoyed our stay at Villa Puri Tupai. Staying in a villa did feel like a 2nd home instead of a hotel. The location was very convenient for exploring Ubud, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Ketut (the deputy manager) and his team prepared wonderful breakfasts for us and helped us with organizing bookings for activities.
Overall it was a very positive experience for our ‘first villa stay’ and ‘first stay in Ubud’.

Please can you once again convey our thanks to your staff who looked after us so well at Villa Maharaj.
As you may have heard, unfortunately our children were not well while we were away and so the staff had to clean-up after them quite a bit (not a very pleasant job). Despite this, they maintained their pleasant attitudes and made us feel very relaxed and comfortable.
One thing we would like to say however, is how disappointed we were with the cleanliness of the beach at Seminyak. If you get a chance to feed-back to tourism officials in Bali, this is a serious turn-off and despite the fantastic accommodation, wonderful food and interesting culture, we will not be returning to Bali because of this fact. We could not let our children play on the beach and they were very disappointed not to be able to enjoy the great surfing conditions. It is not just a shame for the tourists but also the people of Bali, that their wonderful island is blighted by polluted waters and rubbish-strewn countryside.
